NEGOTIATOR
"Mommy! Buddy hit me!!!"
"Buddy, did you hit Sonny?"
"Yes, Mom, but he took my toy and broke it!!!"
"Sonny, did you break Buddy's toy?"
"Yes, Mom, but I didn't mean to..."
"I told him not to take it, Mommy, but he took it anyway and then he broke it!!!"
"Sonny, did Buddy tell you not to take it?"
"Yes, Mom, but he told me I could play with it later...and he wasn't playing with it and I let him play with my toy."
"But I was going to play with it!"
"Well, Buddy, if it is Sonny's toy, then Sonny gets to say. But if you can't get along, then neither one of you needs the toys."
"Mom!!!" they cry in unison.
Sound familiar? Well, all the moms would say so. But it happens in churches, too, all the time.
Sons and buds--can't get along. They fight over Spiritual gifts and territory as if they were not given from God. Do you think He looks forward to our growing up?
Paul, the apostle, writes chapter after chapter in how to get along, but does it do any good? We still have wars, and talk and prophesy about a mature Bride and ready Army.
Do you see that yet???
The Bride of Christ will not only be pure, but a Proverbs 31 Woman, able to WORK with Her Husband Jesus as a HELPMEET.
You can't have armies under different commands. How we seek to find a king! But there is only one King and that is Jesus and when we do it His Way, the Army is in order and follows His Commands without breaking rank.
He believes in us. Can we believe in ourselves?
