Prayer Request:
Dear Rev Pam,
It is such a blessing to know of your web page which was introduced to
me a few weeks back. As you have refreshed the Body, I pray God will
always protect you and your family with abundant blessing.
As for me, I am going through a very difficult period-- in other words, if I cannot
settle the credit with the bank I could be bankrupt. I am single and
close to fifty and over the last 6 years I did not have a proper job or
income although I am a business graduate with an MBA. (Due to office
politics I was unjustly dismissed in 24 hours from a high position -- as a
result of false witness and conspiracy.) Last year I was lecturer as
from April and once again for the last 6 months I am with out a job and
income.
Due to the economic crisis in Asia I have been affected and it has been a very hard time for me.
I've prayed and
it is only now that I feel I need to put up this urgent request. I
believe there is a time for eveything and this sudden feeling to put up
this request must be in the Lord's plan to put the devil to shame.
I have sincerely prayed and cried, fasted and faithful in long hours of
daily devotion. I've shared this with my church pastor and I'm still
waiting for a miraculous breakthrough and at the same time keeping the
truth away from my 70 year old mother who had an operation 2 days ago.
I have almost lost my strength, as a matter of fact for the first time
some hours ago, at my church weekly prayer meeting I was unable to pray
instead I remained crying like a baby.
May be I should add on to mention my calling as an end time financier
to build His Church. However at the rate I'm going it seems almost
impossible. Moreover I have been faithful in tithing and freely I had
been giving relatively much to various servants of God and ministries and
each time I'm financially blessed. It's rather discouraging when I am
known as a generous person to the Lord's kingdom. I believe strongly the
enemy cannot hold back much longer.
Please help me to pray for a timely miraculous financial breakthrough
and a new business venture. I'm simply cornered and am living in faith.
I've done them all, long hours of regular devotion, fasting, cried,
never fail in tithing, and I had over the last couple of weeks been
sowing relatively much in free will offerings. Yet I find it hard to
understand God, I'm pleading almost everyday for God to relent, truly
if this is a test I find it too much for me to accept. I hate to say
this if the breakthrough is not timely I may not be able to take it and
may result in a suicide. (I know it is wrong but I can't help feeling
this way).
I take this prayer request very seriously. The reason I put it up is because I know this precious vessel is not the only one going through this kind of fire. Myself and others have gone through much of the same thing, yet we are still pressing on in ministry! I hope you will pray for her and others like her. God is raising up an end time army that is not going to play games with the enemy but WILL DEFEAT HIM with the Word of God!!! Jesus said He came to destroy the works of the devil!!!
God is raising up an army of end time finance people who are in a very hot fire but it is the crucible of victory because the god of this world is mammon or the love of money and the system is about to crumble. Again, I ask you to lift this precious vessel up and speak life to her and her situation. Right now she doesn't feel like a blessing but she very much is one by allowing the truth of this subject to come up and be confronted. She shall overcome!!!! God bless you all, as you read my response. Pray for the TRUE BODY of Christ. It will benefit YOU as a part of it!
Hi Sister, I got your request the other day and began praying but did not have "the right words" and was waiting on the Holy Spirit. I feel more stirred, or led, today after receiving this last letter. I totally understand where you are coming from.
What I suspect is that the Lord is calling you into full time ministry. And if not full time, then maybe part time. But the way of ministry is totally different from the world's way of operating in the market place, where that way seems logical to you!
God is stripping you because He wants to show you the true foundation of faith rather than personal resource. Your faith is being tested and as Job, it can take longer than just a day or two. And you will get a few of his friends!
Yes, you feel like dying but what is dying is flesh. God is keeping you for He will not let you go through more than you can bear (we debate that) and He promised and said that no one can snatch you out of the Father's Hand and I know you don't want to go to hell, so you are just going to have to go through this!
You have joined in the fellowship of His sufferings but the foundation of the Lord standeth sure, having this seal: The Lord knows them that are His. You know this.
So God is stripping you. Instead of fighting it, get with it. If He wasn't going to use you and honor you, you wouldn't be going through this. God needs people who need to know what to do when the world system crashes all around them. Do you know what to do? You are learning!!!
We must give up all for Christ. That is not easy but there is also great gain and that gain is eternal and abundant life - even in the NOW. Psalm 27:13 Your designed way of life is not as good as His, even though you are impressed with yours. (Ask me how I know this! Been there!) But God's way is totally free.
God is your Source and Supply. How do you know? You need miracles. You need trust and faith more, and how do you get that? By needing it. Selah.
As I said, what is dying is the flesh. Go to the Word of God. Ingest it. Learn how to speak to your circumstances. Yes, the enemy is going to fight a "salvation" ministry--he hates it! Because he hates Jesus! He is against the anointing --he is anti-Christ. We are in a warfare!
God is the potter, we are the clay. Sounds easy when we have some input, doesn't it? But we are being designed for last days work where the enemy is coming in like a flood and is angry because he knows his time is short and numbered. God needs those whose dependence is purely on the Word of God to fight the enemy's various schemes against the Body.
Ask God if He is calling you to full time ministry. If so, there is a joy that has already risen in your spirit. And if He is, then you need to totally regroup and quit trying to make the past work when it won't anymore. The gifts and the calling of God are without repentance--that means that He is not going to change His mind!
But He is also Lord over the timing. That was/is hard for me, too! It's not our timing, but His. Today is the day of salvation, right? Don't harden your heart.
Get ready to go to a simple lifestyle. Bless those who persecuted you. If Satan had known, he never would have crucified the Lord of glory. This is working for your good.
You are being stripped to be built on the sure foundation of faith. Remember praying for that? God heard you! And the just shall live by faith, for faith pleases God, for without faith it is impossible to please God. You must build on this foundation!!!
God gave me a vision one time of a house built partially on a rock and partially on the sand. When the shaking came, the house was torn to pieces. Even though part of it was on the Rock, the rest was a mess! Totally destroyed.
It's time to start praying for others. Let that soul travailing begin to come out and come forth from your inner man.
Pray much in the Spirit. Discipline yourself to pray in the will of God. Your friends will change. They won't understand and share your joys because you have entered the household of faith. When their world crumbles, they will look to you. Be ready.
Your associations will change. It's time to serve the Church--God's needy people.
