When I get up in the morning, I am on the Lord's time clock. Some days I get long coffee breaks, other days are long days. Sometimes it is lengthy personal ministry, sometimes it is going out and ministering. I just make myself available to the Lord at His leading. I do my best to stay in His Presence, and the Lord pays. The Lord issues the pay checks at His discretion. There is no hype.
Sometimes the provision comes in abundance. Other times you are tested to see if He is really your Employer and Source and you will obey. I can testify, that even in the lean times, He is faithful!!!
We are still not a 501(c)3 tax exempt ministry. There are two reasons: one, the gifts have not been so big that we needed to be, and two, the money that did come in, I felt, was more needed other places to get the job done! I have paid taxes on all ministry income. We do have a separate ministry account at the bank but taxes are paid on it. I do believe that we will eventually get our tax exempt status, it just has not happened yet. When it does, I will notify everyone.
Some have told me they have not given for that reason. My Source is still God. Until He allows it to come to pass in the proper way, we will just continue to do the best we can with what we get. Often the finances I have received to live on have not come in as ministry gifts but from other sources (family situations, personal investing, etc.), and even much this income has gone toward the ministry to help and edify others.
I did feel it necessary to let people know what our situation is. I do believe our 501(c)3 is coming soon. I have had many words about the expansion of our ministry and I know that God does things decently and in order. I do appreciate all your prayers and your gifts. It is making the ministry happen. I felt you should know all this. God bless you.
