Since we are in a fallen world and live among fallen men and women who disappoint us, we must take our hunger to God. When we look at people as the Source, as we are so often prone to do, and our real hunger is for God, then we can often get misplaced anger.
Since there is such a tendency for us to take credit when it's really God who should get the glory, it can really be a snare, but once we see the Light on it, we can see the Truth and get set free.
Sometimes people can't see the truth that is so plainly evident to us. Sometimes it's us who can't see. We must apply grace and wisdom to every situation. We must take our problems to the Cross, the place of weakness and strength, and get set free.
God is not just the Answer, He is the Life giver. He is not just the Solution to our problem, He is the Life maker. Sometimes we just need to expand our focus. Sometimes we just need to look in another direction. Sometimes we need to apply the patience for others that we know we need ourselves.
Oh how we love miracles and often need them. And God is more than willing to supply if we can believe Him for them, but He also wants to be known for Who He is.
He is Yah! He is Strength! He is the tender One who conquered death, hell, the world and the grave. He cares about the tiny bird as much as He cares about us. We just need to have our focus on Him.
So often we find ourselves pinched and cramped and even abused. Sometimes our mind knows it could and should be better, but we don't know how to do it.
When we try to adjust the world with our finite minds, we often fail. But He can satisfy the hungry soul if we will just let Him. Won't you seek Him for it today?
