You would think the Body would someday grow up, but even just recently I was told by someone that I was so bad even God would not want me! Of course I knew that was not true and that the person was just mad because they didn't want to hear what the Spirit had to say. The emotional reaction without reasoning was a give-away. They wanted to do things in a self serving way to build the Kingdom claiming it was God.

It won't work! We are in a warfare. The forces of the enemy are not going to relent and will use anyone they can to cause harm to the Body. We cannot even tolerate evil for the sake of a friend--because that foundation will not hold. To win in the Kingdom of Love, you must be tough!

"The Kingdom of Heaven suffers violence and the violent take it by force." As you grow in Christ (the Anointing) people will get mad when you don't do things their way--especially if they can't control you. They sometimes will threaten you with all kinds of evil. That is witchcraft in the Name of the Lord, but you do not have to succomb.

Just stay in the will of God and keep on keeping on, because He will prove He is with you. The hardest things I have ever done has been to give up close friendships for the will of God, but I have also never regretted it. Believe God! Press on! He is faithful when man isn't. His Love remains. The war is tough. But His Truth wins. Hang in there!!!

Why God Would Not Want You

There are many reasons why God would not want you.
But don't worry. You're in good company.

Moses stuttered.
David's armor didn't fit.
John Mark was rejected by Paul.
Hosea's wife was a prostitute.
Amos' only training was in the school of fig-tree pruning...
Solomon was too rich.
Abraham was too old.
David was too young.
Timothy had ulcers.
Peter was afraid of death.
Lazarus was dead.
John was self-righteous.
Jesus was too poor.
Naomi was a widow.
Paul was a murderer. So was Moses.
Jonah ran from God.
Miriam was a gossip.
Gideon and Thomas both doubted.
Jeremiah was depressed and suicidal.
Elijah was burned out.
John the Baptist was a loudmouth.
Martha was a worry-wart.
Mary was lazy.
Samson had long hair.
Noah got drunk.
Did I mention that Moses had a short fuse?
So did Peter, Paul - well, lots of folks did.

But God doesn't require a job interview. He doesn't hire and fire like most bosses, because He's more our Dad than our Boss. He doesn't look at financial gain or loss.

He's not prejudiced or partial, not judging, grudging, sassy, or brassy, not deaf to our cry, not blind to our need.

As much as we try, God's gifts are free. We could do wonderful things for wonderful people and still not be. . .wonderful.

Satan says, "You're not worthy."

Jesus says, "So what? I AM."

Satan looks back and sees our mistakes. God looks back and sees the cross. He doesn't calculate what you did in '78. It's not even on the record.

Sure. There are lots of reasons why God shouldn't want us. But if we are utterly in love with Him, if we hunger for Him more than our next breath, He'll use us in spite of who we are, where we've been, or what we look like.

Step out of your limitations into the unlimitable nature of who God is. He is faithful.

BEWARE OF THE TREE

Prophecy by Stephen Hanson - July 4, 1998

"My eagles will fly higher and higher; they will reach that part of the sky where my air currents will take them to new places. They are encircling high in the heavens.

Beware of many things--beware of those who speak presumably in my name. Have I not said that you would know them by their fruits? Pick off some of the fruit, and see what it tastes like. Is it bitter to the taste, or does it bring sweetness to your soul?

There are many voices out there in this hour. Some speak in My Name, and others don't.

My word is a balanced word. It will bring judgment, BUT there is always hope...There is always a way to be redeemed.

I want to save all that I can, and I care about those that are lost. What parent would not grieve for a lost son or daughter?

There is a great need for discerning my word. There is a great need to see how that prophetic word lines-up with Scripture.

I have spoken my word first, and by it, the heavens and the earth were created. It is a creative word which gives life unto the hearer.

Many of the words and messages I hear, fill my people with fear. They are like rottenness to the bone, they are like a dry place in the midst of a desert.

How can a traveler be sustained on a journey? He will take all the necessary gear with him. He will need the proper clothing for the climate he is journeying to. If he has everything he needs, but his water supply is low, he will become parched and dry.

Many of my people have become parched and dry, because of the words given to them.

I SAY THAT I AM AGAINST THOSE WHO SPEAK PRESUMABLY IN MY NAME. Seek that well that gives everlasting life, and that will give you the words which to speak."
